Auckland, New Zealand
    The first stop on our trip to the South Pacific was Auckland, New Zealand.  We didn't plan on spending much time there, as we were anxious to get into some camping or hiking.  We spent a couple of nights in a hostel, giving us some time to explore the sites in the city, such as the maritime museum, one tree hill, and the Sky Tower.  Soon we were off to the nearby Great Barrier Island to do some backwoods exploring.
